Hall Road Rangers end their Humber Premier League Premier Division season on Tuesday night when they welcome Reckitts AFC to Haworth Park.

This’ll be the final game for the Rangers first-team before they move across to Westella & Willerby next season. Because of this, they’ll be aiming to finish the campaign in winning style.

Reckitts are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions and have won four of their last five league games. Those victories came against South Cave United, Hessle Sporting Club and Hessle Rangers respectively. This has seen them move off the bottom of the league table.

On their travels so far this season, Reckitts have played 11 games. They’ve picked up four wins, two draws and five defeats.

Giving his pre-match thoughts, Rangers boss Chris Burke said:

“We know that the game won’t be an easy affair as Reckitts have enjoyed a very good recent run of results and they’ll be looking to try and avenge the result from earlier in the season at Hull Uni.

We’ve dropped off from our recent run of good form with three disappointing results. This came in a couple of draws when being in a comfortable and commanding position and then our most recent result going down 1-2 at home against recently crowned Humber Prem champions Pocklington Town.

We’ll be doing all we can to sign off on a positive note and finish with three points for the final time.”
