Hall Road Rangers have another home game this weekend when they welcome Hedon Rangers to Haworth Park.

It’s a very quick turnaround in the fixtures between the sides this season. The previous league meeting took place in early September and resulted in Hedon picking up all three points in a 2-1 victory.

Therefore, Hall Road will have revenge on their minds heading into this latest meeting. If they were to secure all three points, it’d be a third successive league win and could move them to the top of the table depending on other results.

However, Hedon will definitely provide a very stern test. After four wins on the bounce, they occupy third place in the league table and sit two places above Hall Road.

Both teams have 12 points thus far and boast similar records with four wins and two defeats respectively. A victory for Hedon could potentially see them become the new league leaders.

Dan Clancy and Joe Wood are Hedon’s joint top scorers so far this season with four goals each respectively.

Hall Road boss Leon Sewell says that his side are set for another hard fought game against the Humber Premier League champions:

“We narrowly lost out to Hedon a few weeks back and there’s no shame in losing to the league champions.

We’re looking to get the win in what’ll be a very competitive game.

I’m sure the lads will be ready to play on the front foot come 2pm on Saturday.”
