Hall Road Rangers face Humber Premier League champions Hedon Rangers at Holderness Academy on Saturday.

After picking up two successive league wins, Hall Road could end the weekend top of the table if they win and other sides around them drop points.

Hedon currently sit in 9th place in the league table and have three points from three league games played. They lost their opening two games against East Riding Rangers and Hornsea Town respectively. Following these defeats, they beat St Mary’s AFC 1-0 last weekend with former Rangers player Will Broadley getting himself on the scoresheet.

Hall Road manager Leon Sewell expects another difficult test for his side:

“We’ll go again in midweek and get the boys in for training.

We’ve got a tough task this weekend against last season’s league champions in Hedon Rangers.”
