Hall Road Rangers make the trip to Wolfreton School on Saturday to face Hessle Rangers.
Currently on a five game winning run, Hall Road will look to maintain their excellent form and earn a sixth successive league win. Doing so would help them continue to close the gap on the sides above them in the Humber Premier League Premier Division table.
Conversely, Hessle are third bottom and three points clear of the bottom two. They were victorious in their last league game as they secured a 0-3 win against St Mary’s AFC at Hull University.
So far this season, Hessle have had seven home league games of which they’ve won one and lost six. They could move themselves up into 10th place with a win.
The sides previously locked horns last October at Haworth Park. In which, the points were shared in a 2-2 draw.
Looking ahead to the latest clash between the sides, Hall Road boss Chris Burke said:
“After last week’s heroic performance by the lads to take all three points at home to Scullies, we’ll again be looking to take maximum points when we visit Wolfreton to take on Hessle Rangers. It’ll be a much changed side from last week due to injury, work commitments and holidays.
However, we travel with confidence that if we stick to the same principles as we’ve done over the last few weeks and carry out the basics properly then I’m very confident of making it six wins out of six. It’d be no more than the lads deserve.
Saturday certainly can’t come soon enough and myself and the boys will be more than ready to go.”
