Hall Road Rangers are aiming to build on their positive start to the season when they face Pocklington Town at Bishop Burton College on Saturday.
Having picked up three points and a clean sheet against LIV Supplies on Tuesday night, Rangers come into this game full of confidence after a solid defensive display.
Meanwhile, Pocklington also took three points and a clean sheet from their 1st league game of the season. This was a 0-4 win at Hornsea Town last weekend and it was secured thanks to a Jake Dunham brace and goals from Joe Cooney and former Rangers striker Nathan Walker.
Rangers manager Leon Sewell says that there’s room for improvement from his side heading into the Pocklington game:
“Still bits to work on. The boys will be in training on Thursday and ready to go again on Saturday.
For those that were down and supported us on Tuesday night, thank you. Should you wish to come and see the boys at it again on Saturday, we’re actually back at Bishop Burton College playing Pocklington Town.”
