Ahead of the home game against Rainworth Miners Welfare on Saturday, Hall Road Rangers joint boss Leon Sewell says that he wants his side to have a strong end to the season.

“Saturday will be tough given that Rainworth narrowly lost 2-3 to Shirebrook Town and 0-1 against Brigg Town.

Myself and the management team will be doing our upmost to make sure we finish these last ten games of the season as strongly as possible with our aim to finish in the top ten of the league” he said.

Rainworth occupy 17th position in the league table and are six points clear of the bottom three. The Wrens have lost their last four league games on the bounce. Furthermore, they’ve lost seven of their 13 away games so far this season.

However, they’ll still provide an awkward test for Rangers. This was exemplified in the reverse fixture between the sides last November. On that night, Hall Road were two goals down inside 11 minutes and produced a superb comeback to take all three points in a 2-3 win at Kirklington Road.
