On Wednesday night, Hall Road Rangers lock horns with Hornsea Town to Haworth Park.

Unbeaten in their last 10 league games, Rangers will be very keen to extend that run even further. They’ll also want to return to winning ways following successive draws against East Riding Rangers and LIV Supplies.

Hornsea are seventh in the Humber Premier League Premier Division table. They picked up a 3-2 win against Hull United last Saturday and would move up to sixth place with a victory against Rangers.

The last league meeting between the sides took place last October and was a 2-2 draw. Kian Salter put Rangers in front inside three minutes before second half goals from Luka Suluburic and Lewis Reeve gave Hornsea the lead. In the 89th minute, Dave Harrison grabbed an equaliser for Rangers.

Providing his pre-match thoughts, Rangers manager Chris Burke said:

“We’ll be looking to put Saturday’s result right on Wednesday when we welcome Hornsea to Haworth.

We’re looking forward to getting the game played in what’ll hopefully be nice weather.”
