Hall Road Rangers travel to Dronfield Town on Tuesday night.

A win for Rangers could move them up into 9th place in the NCEL Division One table.

Meanwhile, Dronfield are in 15th place and they’re 12 points clear of the bottom three. Chris Millington’s side have only lost two of their last six league games which were very narrow defeats against title chasing North Ferriby FC and Hallam FC respectively.

Therefore, this indicates the challenge that Hall Road will face at the H. E. Barnes Stadium.

The main source of goals in Dronfield’s squad is Callum Mawbey. Mawbey is their top scorer having bagged 11 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Rangers joint boss Leon Sewell says that his side will need to be at their best in order to earn all three points.

“Dronfield Town away on Tuesday night will be one of our longest journeys of the season.

We’ll have the Sheffield traffic to fight our way through. To add to that, Dronfield have lost twice in their last six games.

I’m certain that Tuesday night will be a good, physical battle on, no doubt, a wet pitch.

I’ve got a lot of time and respect for all involved at Dronfield Town including Chris and Nick who run the side.

It’s a game we’ll be travelling to in good spirits, refreshed legs and one we’ll have to play well to get the three points we want.

Hopefully, we’ll have a new face and two returning players to the squad as we look to finish the back end of the season promisingly” he said.
