Hall Road Rangers will look to keep up their fine away form when they travel to the Marra Falcons Stadium on Saturday to take on Armthorpe Welfare.
Having won their last five away games, Rangers now have the 7th best away record in NCEL Division One with six wins and six defeats from 12 games on their travels.
Contrastingly, Armthorpe’s home record consists of four wins and six defeats.
Both Armthorpe and Hall Road have a total of 35 points so far this campaign with the sides being separated by just two places in the league table. A win for Rangers would see them move above their opponents which signifies the importance of the game itself.
These sides last faced each other at the end of August in the early stages of the season in which Rangers lost out 0-2 at Haworth Park.
Rangers joint manager Leon Sewell wants his side to show a positive reaction following their defeat against Hallam FC on Monday.
“We were in training on Wednesday night and we’ll be ready to go again on Saturday away at Armthorpe which is no gimme going to Doncaster.
Our away form is one to be considered as a form team.
We’ve got to go again and keep banging on the doors and turning the screw as they say.
We’ve got to learn from our mistakes and we’ll certainly look to put them right” he said.
