Hall Road Rangers welcome East Riding Rangers to Haworth Park on Wednesday night.

After securing a record breaking eighth league win on the bounce last weekend, Hall Road will aim to stretch their exceptional winning run to nine league games. If they achieve this, it’d strengthen their grip on fourth place in the Humber Premier League Premier Division table as they’d go eight points clear of fifth placed South Cave United.

East Riding occupy sixth spot in the league table and three points for them from this game would cut the gap to South Cave to just two points. They’ve lost their last two league games which were both against league leaders Pocklington Town.

On their travels, East Riding possess a very good record thus far. From 10 away games played, they’ve picked up six wins and four defeats.

When asked for his pre-match thoughts, Rangers boss Chris Burke said:

“After a tough game on Saturday, we look to dust ourselves down and go again on Wednesday evening at home to East Riding Rangers. We know this’ll be another tough game and we’ll be looking to make amends for the result earlier in the season.

We picked up a couple of injuries on Saturday with one being the loss of Fin Pulford who’ll miss the remainder of the season. Myself and the lads all send our well wishes for his recovery.

With this in mind, we’ll shuffle the pack to make sure we’re ready to be bang at it on Wednesday evening under the Haworth lights.”
