HALL Road boss Bill Gill has admitted his players need no motivation ahead of tomorrow night’s home clash with Liversedge as Rangers re-commence their NCEL Premier Division campaign.

“It will be easy motivating the lads tomorrow night especially after the result on Saturday especially the manner in which we lost by losing out in extra time.” Gill admitted

“Every player should wanna make up for things.”

Gill also believes tomorrow night could largely come down to how his team prepare following their previous two fixtures going into extra-time. He also stated that they need to capitilise on the games in hand they have accrued if they are to build on their promising opening third of the season.

“For me I need to set us up right again, and tactically get the shape and approach right to win the game.

We sit tenth with games in hand and need to take advantage of these situations.” he added

With Rangers looking especially dangerous in the offensive third Gill believes that although Liversedge are an attacking threat themselves they may be an opening for his players considering how many goals Liversedge have conceded.

“Liversedge have had some great results already this season, beating top teams and drawing important games.

They like a goal also and this showed against both Barton and Mansfield.

We know they also concede plenty as well.”

Hall Road go into the game looking to build on a decent previous month in terms of league action including their last run out which saw them race into a 4-0 half-time lead against Worksop Town.

A win could potentially see them move to within a point of ninth placed Bridlington Town who are in action against Pontefract Collieries.
