HALL Road Rangers will look to extend their unbeaten early season run to four games with a short trip across the Humber Bridge to face Barton Town Old Boys this Saturday.

Rangers boss Dave Ricardo will have a host of players available once more after Saturday’s home win over Harrogate Railway.

Conner Harman, James Whittingham, Chris Spinks and Jack Binns are all available for selection once again, indeed the only certain absentee will be Josh Batty who misses his final match against one of his former clubs through suspension.

The likes of Louis Bruce, Sam Belcher, Danny Norton and Josh Tennant will all be hopeful of also lining up against their former team.

Barton will also have some familiar faces in their squad.

Dane Mortimer (pictured) spent the first half of last season at Haworth Park before moving to Selby Town, and the centre half now represents the Easy Buy Stadium outfit.

Striker Gary Bradshaw also had a spell in his younger days for Hall Road before going on to become North Ferriby United’s all-time leading goal scorer, whilst the host dugout also has a familiar face in Paul Foot who began his playing career with Rangers.

In terms of the early league table Rangers currently hold a four point gap over ‘The Swans’ from their opening four matches prior to Barton welcoming Liversedge on Tuesday evening.

Rangers will be hopeful of landing their first back to back wins in the NCEL Premier Division since when they beat Armthorpe Welfare and Lincoln Moorlands in this corresponding week in September five years ago.
