NINTH meets tenth this weekend as Hall Road look to add a third consecutive scalp at Garforth Town.
Bill Gill and Rangers have shown the ability to roll their sleeves up and battle in their previous two wins but face an altogether different prospect in this trip.
They are almost certainly without Danny Chambers, who appeared to dislocate his elbow in last night’s 2-1 win over Staveley.
A timescale as to any potential return for Chambers is currently unclear.
They will also be without Jack Binns, however goalkeeper Steve Janney is available following his return to the club, a signature which was confirmed on Tuesday evening.
Fraser Hanson also looks set to miss out as he serves his one match ban for his dismissal at Albion Sports a fortnight ago.
With a few missing, Gill has hinted at possible additions ahead of the weekend, whilst he could also look to promote from the reserves, a move which has proved somewhat fruitful so far in his tenure.
They will go to a Garforth Town side smarting from a 4-0 home defeat to Athersley Recreation on Tuesday night, and sure to be looking for a response from that outing.
The result was all the more surprising as Garforth had previously gone seven games unbeaten.
Callum Ward has netted in four of Garforth’s last five matches, whilst Mark Simpson netted a hat-trick in their 3-3 draw with Thackley at the end of September.
